Can you ride a thruster as a single fin?

I'm curious, can one actually ride a thruster as a single fin? I've heard some surfers experiment with unconventional setups, but I'm not sure if this is one of them. Wouldn't the thruster's design, with its three fins, be inherently incompatible with a single-fin riding style? Or is there some technique or adjustment that allows for this type of riding? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter.
