Is metaverse already available?

Is the metaverse truly available and accessible to the public yet? Have we reached a point where individuals can fully immerse themselves in this virtual world, engaging in social interactions, economic activities, and even creative endeavors? Or is it still a concept that's largely theoretical, with the technology and infrastructure necessary for a fully-fledged metaverse still in its infancy? I'm curious to know if the metaverse, as envisioned by many in the tech and finance industries, is already here, or if it's still something that's on the horizon, waiting to be fully realized.
