Is a hazy IPA hoppy?

Hello there, I'm curious about the characteristics of a hazy IPA. As a fan of craft beer, I've noticed that some hazy IPAs have a very pronounced hoppiness, while others seem to balance it out with other flavors. So, I'm wondering, is a hazy IPA inherently hoppy, or can it vary depending on the brewer's approach? Does the haze factor into the hoppiness in any way, or is it just a visual aesthetic?
