Why don't we eat the rest of the scallop?

Excuse me, but I couldn't help but notice that there seems to be some leftover scallops on the plate. May I inquire as to why we haven't finished consuming them? Is there a particular reason behind this decision, such as dietary restrictions or perhaps a preference for another dish?
