Why does my Creed Aventus smell like alcohol?

I'm curious to know, why does your Creed Aventus fragrance seem to have an overpowering scent of alcohol? Is it possible that the perfume has been exposed to excessive heat or sunlight, which can sometimes alter its composition? Or could it be that the perfume is simply not yet fully matured, as some fragrances need time to develop their full aroma? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this matter.
