Excuse me, I'm curious about something. In regards to gelato, the creamy Italian dessert, do individuals typically have to pay for it when they indulge in its rich flavors? Is it something that's often offered for free, or is it more common to find gelato shops or carts that require customers to make a monetary exchange in order to enjoy this delightful treat? I'm asking because I'm considering a trip to Italy and would like to know if I should budget for gelato expenses or if I'll be able to find some free samples along the way.
