Does Cobra Kai have kata?

I'm curious, does the popular martial arts series Cobra Kai incorporate traditional kata, or forms of movement, into their training regimen? It's a staple of many martial arts disciplines, so I'm wondering if this aspect of training is also emphasized in the show's portrayal of karate and its rivalries. It would be interesting to see how the characters might incorporate kata into their training and battles, if at all.
