How do you pronounce Lyra?

Excuse me, could you possibly clarify for me how one would properly pronounce the name "Lyra"? I've heard it pronounced in a few different ways and I'm not entirely sure which is the most accurate. Is it "lie-ruh" with a soft "r" sound, or perhaps something closer to "ly-rah" with a harder "r"? Or is there another pronunciation I haven't considered?
