Can you buy a Komodo dragon?

I'm curious, can you actually purchase a Komodo dragon as a pet? I've heard they're fascinating creatures, but I'm not sure if owning one is legal or practical. What kind of considerations would I need to make if I were to seriously consider buying a Komodo dragon? Are there any restrictions or regulations in place that would prevent me from owning one?
