Can you get blue moons?

Excuse me, but I couldn't help but notice your mention of blue moons. I'm curious, are blue moons something that can actually be acquired or obtained in any way? I've heard of them being a rare astronomical event, but I'm not sure if there's a way to physically possess or 'get' a blue moon.
