How to change 802.11 n to 802.11 b?

Hello there, I'm curious about something related to wireless network standards. Specifically, I'm wondering if it's possible to change the 802.11n wireless standard to 802.11b. Now, I understand that these are two different standards with varying speeds and capabilities, but I'm just wondering if there's a way to downgrade or adjust my router settings to use 802.11b instead of 802.11n.
