Where is your aura located?

Excuse me, could you please clarify for me where exactly one's aura is located? I understand it's a concept often associated with energy fields and spiritual beliefs, but I'm curious about its physical or metaphysical placement. Is it centered around the body, or does it extend beyond it? And furthermore, is there any scientific basis or evidence to support the existence of auras, or is it purely a matter of personal perception and belief?
