Does GOG fix old games?

I'm curious to know, does GOG, the popular digital distribution platform for video games, have a policy or service in place to fix or update older games that may have compatibility issues with modern operating systems or hardware? Many classic titles hold a special place in the hearts of gamers, and it would be great if there was a way to ensure that they could still be enjoyed years after their initial release.
