Can I paint over Flex Seal?

Can you really paint over Flex Seal? I've heard it's a highly durable and waterproof sealant, but I'm not sure if it's suitable for painting over. Is it SAFE to do so? Will the paint adhere properly? Will the sealant compromise the paint's durability or longevity? Is there a specific type of paint that works best with Flex Seal? I'm curious to know if there are any potential issues I should be aware of before attempting to paint over Flex Seal.
