Is 30 watt amp loud enough?

Hello there, I'm curious about something related to amplifiers. Specifically, I'm wondering if a 30 watt amplifier would be loud enough for my needs. I'm not a professional musician or anything, but I do enjoy playing guitar and singing at home, and I'm looking to upgrade my current setup. Would a 30 watt amp be sufficient for a small to medium-sized room, or would I need something more powerful? Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated!
