Can I freeze ramps?

I'm curious, can you really freeze ramps? I've heard of freezing herbs and vegetables for later use, but I'm not sure if ramps would fare well in the freezer. Would they retain their flavor and texture after being thawed? And if so, how should I go about preparing them for freezing? Should I blanch them first, or can I just chop them up and throw them in a bag? I'm excited to try preserving ramps for use throughout the year, but I want to make sure I do it right. Can you give me some tips on how to freeze ramps successfully?
