Is the euro accepted in Sweden?

Excuse me, but I was wondering if you could clarify something for me. I'm planning a trip to Sweden and I'm trying to figure out if the euro is widely accepted there as a form of payment. I understand that Sweden has its own currency, the Swedish krona, but I've heard that some countries in Europe accept the euro as well. Would it be convenient to use euros in Sweden, or should I stick to converting my money to krona before I go? Thanks for your help.
