Why is TurboTax making me pay to file?

I'm puzzled, TurboTax. Why am I being required to pay a fee to file my taxes? I've been using your service for years, and I've never encountered this before. Is this a new policy? If so, why the sudden change? I understand that you provide valuable services, but shouldn't basic tax filing be accessible to all, regardless of financial means? I'm curious to know if there are any alternatives for those of us who may not be able to afford the additional cost. Could you please elaborate on the reasons behind this decision and any possible exemptions or discounts available?
