What causes ghosting on render?

Could you please explain what leads to ghosting effects during the rendering process? I've noticed it in some of my recent projects and I'm curious as to what might be causing it. Is it related to the settings I've chosen, the quality of the graphics, or could it be a technical issue with the software I'm using? I'd appreciate any insights you could provide on this matter.
