Is Solana not on Coinbase?

Excuse me, I've been hearing a lot about Solana lately and I'm quite interested in investing in it. However, I've searched through my Coinbase app and I can't seem to find it listed there. Could you clarify for me, is Solana not available on Coinbase? If not, could you please explain why? Also, do you have any suggestions for where I could purchase Solana tokens safely and securely? I'd appreciate any insights you could provide.
