Does MetaMask support Axelar?

I'm quite interested in the intersection of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. One of the questions that's been bugging me lately is whether MetaMask, the popular wallet and gateway to the Ethereum ecosystem, supports Axelar, the innovative blockchain interoperability protocol. Could you possibly shed some light on this matter? Does MetaMask indeed provide support for Axelar, allowing users to seamlessly interact with Axelar-based applications and services?
