Can you send WBTC to BTC?

I'm curious, can you actually send Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) directly to a Bitcoin (BTC) address? I've been hearing about these wrapped tokens and how they allow for more flexibility in DeFi applications, but I'm still a bit hazy on the specifics. I understand that WBTC is an ERC-20 token that represents Bitcoin on the Ethereum network, but does that mean I can just send it to any BTC wallet?
