Is my money safer in Coinbase or Coinbase Wallet?

Could you please help me understand which option is safer for storing my funds, Coinbase or the Coinbase Wallet? I've heard both have their own security features, but I'm not quite sure which one offers better protection for my money. Coinbase seems like a more centralized platform, while the Coinbase Wallet appears to be more decentralized. Does this mean one is inherently safer than the other?
