Should I use BEP2 or BEP20?

I'm really torn between choosing BEP2 and BEP20 for my cryptocurrency transactions. BEP2 seems like a solid option, given its widespread use and reliability on the Binance Chain. But then, BEP20 also has its own set of advantages, being compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine and offering more flexibility in terms of token functionality. Which one should I pick? Is BEP2 more suitable for my basic transactions, or should I opt for BEP20 for its additional features? I'm leaning towards BEP2 for its simplicity, but I'm also intrigued by the potential of BEP20.
