Why can I only buy $250 on Coinbase?

I'm puzzled about a limitation I've encountered on Coinbase. I've been trying to purchase more cryptocurrency, but it seems like there's a cap set at $250. Could you possibly explain why this is? I've been investing in crypto for a while now and have never encountered such a restriction before. Is it because of my account level? Or is there some other factor at play?
