Can you buy a dog through Amazon?

I'm just curious, could you actually purchase a pet dog through Amazon? I mean, they have everything else, so why not dogs as well? But then, I'm not sure if it's ethical or legal to do so. Would the dogs be properly taken care of? And what about their shipping? I've heard stories about animals being transported in poor conditions. Plus, how would you know which breed or personality would suit you best? Buying a dog is a big decision, not just another item to add to your cart. So, could you really buy a dog on Amazon, or is it just a pipe dream?
