Is ERC-20 the same as TRC 20?

Could you clarify for me if ERC-20 and TRC-20 are interchangeable or identical? I've heard both terms being used in the context of cryptocurrencies and blockchain tokens, but I'm not entirely sure about their similarities or differences. ERC-20, as I understand, is a technical standard used for smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain, defining a common set of rules for tokens. But what about TRC-20? Is it a similar standard used on a different blockchain platform? Or does it serve a completely different purpose?
