Can Solana be fixed?

Given the recent network outages and scalability challenges it's been facing, I'm quite curious to know if there's any hope for a turnaround. As a blockchain that prides itself on speed and decentralization, these issues seem to be quite concerning. I'm wondering if the Solana team has any plans or strategies in place to address these challenges and bring stability back to the network.
