Is ERC20 the same as ETH address?

I've been reading a lot about cryptocurrencies lately and one thing that has caught my attention is the ERC20 standard. It seems to be quite popular and widely used. However, I'm a bit confused about the relationship between ERC20 and ETH addresses. Could you clarify for me? Are ERC20 tokens compatible with ETH addresses? In other words, can I send ERC20 tokens to an ETH address or vice versa? I've heard that ERC20 is a token standard built on the Ethereum blockchain, but I'm not entirely sure how this translates into practical usage.
