Can USDC go to zero?

I've been hearing a lot of buzz about cryptocurrencies lately, and USDC is one that's caught my attention. But I'm a bit concerned about its stability. Could you explain to me, in your professional opinion, is there any possibility that USDC could go to zero? I've read some conflicting reports and I'm not sure who to believe. I understand it's backed by the US dollar, but what if something happens to the dollar itself? Or what about the risks associated with cryptocurrency exchanges?
