Can I buy BTC in person?

Excuse me, I'm quite new to the world of cryptocurrencies and I'm trying to understand how things work. I've been hearing a lot about Bitcoin and I'm really interested in investing in it. My question is, can I buy BTC in person? I mean, without using online exchanges or any digital platforms. I'm a bit concerned about the security of online transactions and I'd like to know if there's a more traditional, face-to-face way to acquire Bitcoin. Could you please elaborate on this?
