Can I buy ETH with USDT?

I'm new to the world of cryptocurrency and I'm trying to understand the basics. One question I have is, can I buy Ethereum (ETH) using Tether (USDT)? I've heard that USDT is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, which makes it a relatively stable option compared to other cryptocurrencies. But I'm not sure if it can be used to purchase ETH.
