Is it safe to leave money on Binance?

I've been hearing a lot about Binance recently, and I'm considering storing some of my money there. But I'm also worried about the safety of my funds. After all, we've seen so many stories about crypto exchanges being hacked or going bankrupt. So, is it really safe to leave money on Binance? What kind of security measures do they take to protect their customers' assets? And if something were to happen, would I be able to get my money back?
