Is there still hope for Ethereum?

I've been hearing a lot about Ethereum lately, but with the market volatility and the emergence of new cryptocurrencies, I'm starting to wonder if there's still any hope for Ethereum. Is it still a viable investment option, or has it been outpaced by other cryptocurrencies? Should I continue to hold on to my Ethereum or should I consider switching to something else?
