OdailyOdaily

Odaily News: The US Treasury Department announced the establishment of a Quantum-Readiness Task Force to facilitate the orderly transition of the US financial industry to quantum-safe technologies and post-quantum cryptography (PQC). The task force, a public-private partnership, will bring together government agencies, financial institutions, financial market infrastructures, technology providers, and other private sector participants, focusing on three key areas: financial sector coordination and PQC migration, third-party and vendor readiness, and risks related to digital assets and emerging technologies. The task force is established pursuant to Executive Order 14412 previously issued by the Trump administration and takes into account the G7 Cyber Expert Group's roadmap for transitioning to post-quantum cryptography.
