Trump's Account Caught in Perfect Timing of Trades Amid Iran Conflict

Odaily News: Buying on the first day of the conflict, precisely bottom-fishing before the pause in strikes, and clearing positions before the resumption of strikes—Trump's investment account has been revealed to have made 23 "stock-guru-level trades" over the past six months, with unrealized gains exceeding $1 million.

It is reported that during the first six months of geopolitical conflict, the investment account under Trump's name reaped substantial returns through active trading in energy stocks. These holdings spanned nine major U.S. energy giants, greatly benefiting from supply disruption fears triggered by the conflict. A report released in August by Democratic staff on the U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee (JEC) provided a higher estimate. The committee calculated that the total value of Trump's broader oil and gas portfolio has increased by up to $15.5 million this year.

The report quickly sparked political backlash. Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren criticized in a post that Trump provoked the conflict with Iran this year, directly driving the surge in oil and gas stocks, while his own substantial holdings rose accordingly. (CNBC)
