Tether and Fasanara Capital Launch $400M Private Credit Fund Targeting SME Lending
Odaily News: Tether announced the launch of StableFund, a private credit fund, in partnership with Fasanara Capital, a technology-driven private credit asset manager. The two parties will jointly provide $400 million in anchor investment and plan to attract up to an additional $3 billion in third-party institutional capital. The fund will focus on short-term, asset-backed credit for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Fasanara Capital will serve as the investment manager, leveraging its fintech lending network spanning over 60 countries for asset allocation; Tether will act as co-sponsor, asset originator, and advisor, responsible for identifying financing opportunities linked to USD₮ and providing stablecoin settlement, deposit and withdrawal, and fund management infrastructure.
