Bonk Guy: I've Changed My Bias Against Solana, Now Turning Bullish

Odaily News: Bonk Guy posted on X that he had been pessimistic about Solana, even writing an analysis favoring Robinhood and BNB Chain, believing that Solana would lose significant market share and attention in this cycle. However, recently his views have started to turn bullish on Solana and its ecosystem.

Bonk Guy believes that Solana has recently embraced the "trench" culture again and has begun to more actively promote community projects. At the same time, Solana's management proactively reached out to him to understand how to better align with the community and the "trench" ecosystem. Additionally, Solana officials and core members have recently started to actively recognize ecosystem projects such as $STONK and $USELESS.

These changes are not merely positive for a specific token but reflect a top-down cultural shift within Solana, as well as management's proactive efforts to address issues in the ecosystem. He emphasized that his past criticism of Solana was never about technology or infrastructure, but rather about the ecosystem culture and the impact of "extractors" on Solana's new projects and users.

Bonk Guy also revealed that his long-form analysis, which was originally planned for public release and was bearish on Solana while favoring Robinhood and BNB Chain, will first be shared with Solana for reference. Due to the recent changes that have made him more optimistic, he may adjust his views and ultimately publish a more balanced analysis.

Bonk Guy concluded: "My Solana bias is changing."
