SK Hynix Responds Again: No Decision Yet on Sale of Chongqing Plant Stake

Odaily News: SK Hynix has again responded to reports that the company plans to sell a partial stake in its Chongqing packaging plant in China, with the deal valued at approximately 4 trillion won (about $2.9 billion). The company stated that it is currently studying various measures to enhance the competitiveness of its packaging business, but as of now, no specific matters have been confirmed. This marks the second disclosure by SK Hynix on the matter, coming a month after its initial announcement on August 10. The company said that if any related matters are confirmed, it will make a separate announcement; if there is still no specific progress, it will disclose again within three months from the date of this announcement, with the next expected disclosure date being December 8.
