Odaily News: Malone Lam is expected to appear in federal court on Tuesday for a plea hearing related to an alleged $230 million Bitcoin theft. Prosecutors allege that in August 2024, Malone Lam led an 18-person group that used social engineering to obtain more than 4,100 Bitcoin from a Washington, D.C. investor, subsequently using the proceeds to purchase cars, luxury homes, and a private jet, as well as spending on clubs. If Malone Lam pleads guilty, he will become the 11th defendant to plead guilty in the case. (Bitcoin News)
