OdailyOdaily

Odaily News: According to the latest tweet from Fractal Bitcoin, Fractal Bitcoin completed its first halving at block height 2,100,000, and the FIP-102 proposal was officially activated. According to the official announcement, network nodes and indexing services have been running smoothly after the halving. This upgrade marks the official activation of the FIP-102 proposal, and the distribution of FB will expand from the Fractal network to the Bitcoin mainnet, providing a broader base of Bitcoin users with a direct path to obtain FB.

After the activation of FIP-102, the actual block reward on the Fractal side has been further reduced to 6.25 FB, and an additional 6.25 FB issuance budget will be directed to the Bitcoin mainnet. FIP-102 does not increase the total supply of FB. On the Fractal side, merged mining, free mining, and index mining still allocate block rewards in a 1:1:1 ratio. The specific distribution mechanism on the Bitcoin mainnet will be clarified in the subsequent FIP-103, with the goal of completing the rollout by the first quarter of 2027.
