Arkham marked Wintermute holding a $2.4 million PONS position

The on-chain data analysis platform Arkham has attributed a holding of 3.43 million PONS (approximately 2.4 million USD) to the market maker Wintermute, making it a significant new holder of PONS. Arkham indicates that Wintermute appears to be gradually buying PONS through a time-weighted strategy and speculates that it may be preparing to market make for the token on-chain.PONS is the native token of Pons, a meme coin launch platform on the Robinhood Chain, which is responsible for routing the completed fundraising tokens to the Uniswap pool. Arkham's data shows that this holding accounts for approximately 0.48% of the circulating supply of PONS (712.1 million tokens) and 0.34% of the total supply (1 billion tokens). Additionally, the Uniswap V3 pool and the Uniswap PoolManager contract hold 6.46 million and 5.58 million PONS, respectively.Previously, Uniswap Labs had also purchased PONS tokens, with the Pons project team stating that this move aims to achieve "long-term alignment."
